The UX Index.

Experience, evaluated.

Every place is scored across eight dimensions — from connectivity to sustainability. No stars, no vibes. A method, applied consistently, so a score in Mexico City means the same thing as a score in Tokyo.

Two observers of how technology, hospitality and design converge in real life. We travel, we work remotely, and we take notes — on the Wi-Fi, the check-in, the outlets, the signage, and everything a place gets right or wrong. About the project →

About

We review how places really work.

UX Table is a project by Alfonso Ponce and Sarahí Espinales that documents user experience applied to real life — restaurants, hotels, airports, coworkings, cities and everything in between.

It is not a traditional review platform. We don't rate food or thread counts. We evaluate whether a place works: for remote work, for travel, for accessibility, for the way people actually live today. The guiding question is simple — how does this place actually work in real life?

Method

The UX Index.

Eight dimensions, scored 0–10, weighted by category. The overall score is out of 100. Every review states the date of visit and whether it was independent or a disclosed collaboration.

01 / TECHNOLOGY

Digital integration

Apps, self-service, payments, automation — does the tech help or get in the way?

02 / CONNECTIVITY

Wi-Fi & power

Real speeds, stability, outlet availability, network friction.

03 / HOSPITALITY

Human experience

Service, warmth, problem resolution, consistency.

04 / DESIGN

Space & signage

Layout, lighting, acoustics, wayfinding, atmosphere.

05 / WORKABILITY

Can you work here?

Seating, noise, session tolerance, meeting-friendliness.

06 / ACCESSIBILITY

Open to everyone

Physical access, clarity, inclusive design.

07 / SUSTAINABILITY

Footprint

Materials, waste, energy, honest practices vs. greenwashing.

08 / INNOVATION

Doing it differently

Ideas other places should copy.

Editorial principles

Reviews are not for sale.

A commercial collaboration never guarantees a positive score. Sponsored content is always identified.

Every evaluation follows the same criteria. Opinions reflect the experience as observed, on the date of visit.

Independence.

UX Table retains full editorial control over what is published, scored and ranked.
